Slow & Steady

Geraldine starts us off with a few random facts about herself: “I have an irrational fear of snails. And I always smell books before I buy them.” Career-wise, Geraldine is no creature of habit, however: she took the plunge and left the corporate world three months ago to build her own label with her partner, and she couldn’t be happier. “I must say that I’m working at what I deem as my dream job!” she says. “At this moment, I love everything about it.” Geraldine does have moments when she feels that life is “hanging by a thread”, but she takes her own advice to always find some time for herself. “Work hard but don’t burn out!” she says. “When you’re tired, it’s always important to take a breather.” The self-declared Internet and social media addict finds respite and inspiration online, and perhaps it’s only apt that she will soon be launching her label online as well. If this clean, ladylike ensemble is any indication of what’s to come, we’re more than excited.
