Natalie describes her style as minimalist chic, and she usually adds a pop of colour to give her outfit more personality. “I keep it subtle for the workplace, and choose pieces like a scarf or a pair of shoes.” As a recruitment consultant, she tells us that her favourite part of the job is when her efforts are appreciated, either by the client or candidate she’s working with. For candidates that have just entered the working world, she advises them to take on opportunities that allow them to learn and grow professionally. “Look at the long term benefits rather than the short term gains. I’ve learnt so many lessons from my time at work, but if I had to highlight one thing, it’s learning how to manage expectations of people.” When she’s not working, Natalie loves going for a good brunch and staying active by going wakeboarding with her friends. “I used to do it a lot more back in my polytechnic days. These days, I usually hit the cable park in Batam with my friends once in a blue moon.”
