You’re currently looking to switch careers—what prompted the move?
I’m keeping a lookout for a new position to test out different waters—I’ve been in this position for three years and I felt like it was time for a fresh start.

What’s been the biggest change in your life in the past year?
The biggest change would be that I recently gave birth to my second child. Having a new kid in your family is always a different experience; it doesn’t become easier just because I’ve done this before.

What has been the most difficult part about this change?
Finding time for yourself is tricky when you have kids—your day starts with work and ends with your kids, so it takes time to adjust to, but it’s fun in its own way.

Share with us an uncommon hobby you have.
I wouldn’t say it’s uncommon but I love fashion and dressing up. I would take more photos for Instagram but my husband is not the best photographer (laughs).

Where do you get your fashion inspiration?
We travel quite frequently—I’ve visited Paris a few times, and the fashion scene in Europe is very vibrant  and different from what you see here. Everyone dresses up, even for a small occasion like going out to get coffee. I wish we saw more of that in Singapore.
