Nothing Is Impossible

With her statuesque frame and graceful demeanour, it’s no surprise that Suhina has taken part in several modelling competitions, and even used to be on a reality show back in her South African hometown. “The show was about 25 models living in a mansion,” she says. “By far one of the craziest things I’ve done to date.” Today she works in the tech startup scene, a place that she describes as “anything goes” when it comes to fashion. Despite that, Suhina makes it a point to dress well for work. “My advice is, make an effort when you get dressed for work. If you look good, you feel good. It’s like getting an instant confidence boost.” Describing her own style as quirky and bold, Suhina personalises her outfit and keeps it fun by adding a splash of colour, a peculiar accessory or wearing an unexpected combination of pieces. With a diverse set of roles as a medical doctor, ex-model, digital marketer, and tech lover, Suhina combines the different elements of her character in what she does. Even with her active and busy lifestyle, she makes it a priority to find time for her personal life. “Just taking an hour out over dinner with loved ones can be super relaxing and gives you the much needed recharge to keep going.” She looks up to Steve Jobs as her role model, inspired by the way he pushed boundaries and thought outside the box, thus fundamentally changing how technology is now consumed. “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says ‘I’m possible’.”
