Sara is a picture of sophistication in this monochrome outfit, and we’re pleasantly surprised to hear that she’s still a student in junior college. The outfit she’s wearing today is her go-to look for off days, especially when she manages to find some free time out of the pressures of school. “It’s very hard for me to juggle school and my personal time,” she shares. “But I will do what it takes to make time for my family and friends. I find that completing most of my work during the weekdays, even if it means longer nights, helps a lot so that I can keep my weekends as free as possible. Even simple things like eating dinner together with your family could really help in ensuring a balance in your life.” Sara sounds mature beyond her years, and maybe this could be attributed to the time she spent in London, growing up. “I witnessed a totally different culture and style from what we’re used to here in Singapore, and I guess that has shaped me quite a bit in terms of the way I think and even the way I dress.” She professes a love for knit sweaters, trousers, and “beautiful, colourful trench coats”, and says her life philosophy for the moment is: “Don’t give up what you want most, for what you want now.”
