Having been in this line for 10 years, what are some important lessons you’ve learned from your work?
Everybody has a story to tell. People are unique and special, and everyone has good points to them.

Share with us a piece of advice you wish you’d received when you started working.
To enjoy the journey. There’s always something to learn from each experience, so don’t rush.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I have a son who’s turning one, so it’s mostly family time and spending time with him. Weekends are very precious, so most times it’s going out for a meal at a café, or travelling with him when we can. We always go to Kith Café at Millenia Walk because it’s family-friendly, and there’s a lot of open space to accommodate prams.

What are some places you’d like to travel to?
New Zealand, it’s very pretty and I like nature.

What are some life skills that are useful but rarely taught?
To always find the good in people, and not to focus on the negatives, because no one is perfect.

If you could change one thing about the world, big or small, what would it be?
That everyone would slow down and smell the roses. With our fast-paced life where everyone’s chasing their wants and needs, it’s important for us to take some time to focus on what we have.
