Tell us what you do for work.
I work in marketing, mostly for the music industry. I used to work at the music agency Universal Music, but I’m taking a gap year of sorts, so I just do marketing as a freelancer now.

What have you been up to during this break?
I’m currently having a clean girl aesthetic moment, so I’ve been taking pilates classes and going to the gym, going for ice bath therapy and physiotherapy. Basically doing a lot of relaxing.

I’ve been travelling too! I just came back from a trip to Japan where I visited the typical three places—Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto—and went snowboarding at Hakuba. I also went to Korea for a microneedling treatment (laughs).

How important is therapy to you?
I highly encourage both physical and mental therapy. Personally, psychotherapy helps to declutter my mind and guide me to what I need to be doing.

Walk us through your idea of a perfect day.
I’ll start my day off with a walk at 2PM to soak in the afternoon sun, then go back home to make myself a cup of pourover coffee and maybe watch a bit of TV to unwind. After that, I’ll go to the gym, do pilates, or something to get me moving.

If I still have time, I’ll read up on tech and social media commentaries on Substack, and browse the internet for fashion inspiration, to see what others are wearing nowadays.

We hear that you have a thing for Shrek! Why?
Shrek’s an icon! I think he represents me—broad shouldered and grumpy but with a heart of gold (laughs). If I could wear just one colour for the rest of my life, I’d choose green to embody that.

What’s one thing you hope to achieve this year?
I want to learn how to cook! I’m a foodie but I can’t cook for nuts—my cooking is only for survival (laughs). A dish in particular I want to master is Texas-style fried chicken.

Do any fried chicken restaurants in Singapore come close?
One of my favourite places to get fried chicken locally is Chix Hot Chicken. As someone who loves anything spicy, I think their chicken, especially the chicken tenders, have the perfect blend.
