Shine Through

In her usual feminine get-up, we spotted Crystal amongst the bustling after-work crowd in a striking printed floral skirt. Crystal advises the everyday worker to “pick your outfit  the night before, so you don’t screw up picking a wrong one in the morning”. A banker, Crystal loves her job as she gets to meet new people everyday. Nevertheless, if she didn’t have her job, she shares that she might have been a florist or an interior and furniture stylist. “I like floral arrangement, and I’m obsessed with Muji and all things Scandinavian. I can never walk away from an overseas Muji store without taking a full walk around it and buying something.” When it comes to coping at any job,  Crystal says that people should not be afraid of hard work. “Bite the bullet and keep pressing on. Surround yourself with positive people and firmly cut out the negative ones,” she says. “Have a work and life mode switch. Switch off from work the second you’re out of office and enjoy the weekend throughly!” The woman with a bubbly personality also has a sentimental side. “I like travelling and film photography, and photographs are important to me because they take you back to the exact moment you once had.” Crystal leaves us with her driving philosophy in life: “Be brave and always try new things!”
