Tell us about yourself—what do you do?
I’m currently working in events management for a training company. I grew up in Shanghai, and I did my Bachelor’s degree in event management in the United Kingdom, followed by a Master’s in Singapore Management University.

What’s a lesson you’ve learned from your work?
A smile is always the best way to reach a solution.

What are some things you must do when you go back to Shanghai?
I go back every two months or so, and every time I visit it’s a must to eat my favourite foods—生煎包 (pan-fried buns filled with minced pork), duck soup, and hotpot. I also go to the Bund whenever I’m back.

What’s something silly or untrue that you used to believe as a child?
There isn’t much, really—I’m a very realistic person, which is typical of a Capricorn like me! However, I’ve believed that unicorns exist, ever since I first heard of them.

What’s something you’d like to be really good at?
I’ve always wanted to have a great memory; it’d definitely make my life easier.
