We met you at Playeum almost a year ago—what’s changed since then?
The first thing that pops into my head is the change in my Myers-Briggs personality type— I went from being an extroverted ESFJ for many years, to suddenly being an introverted INFP this year! Other than that, I’ve started prioritising my fitness a little more, and surprised myself personally by signing up for the gym.
Tell us something not many people know about you:
I fall asleep watching movies 80% of the time, whether in the cinema and at home. Yup, I’m one of those people.
One thing you read or watched anything recently that inspired you:
I recently watched a TED talk by Brené Brown titled The Power of Vulnerability and it really spoke to me. I think it’s so important to be okay with being vulnerable—the world would be a much happier place if people were more in touch with their emotions. Let yourself have a good cry once in while!
If you could relive any period in your past, which would you choose and why?
Probably my trip to New Zealand with some of my best friends. I remember feeling so happy and at ease during my time there—being surrounded by vast nature really does something to the soul.
Without worrying about cost, what’s something you’d like to buy or do for yourself?
I know this is what many others would say, but I’d really like to go on a very long holiday without worrying about how much money or days of leave I have left.
If you could change something in the world, either big or small, what would it be?
I’d like to give more people access to food. I remember watching a short documentary on landfill meat, which refers to leftover food scraps of other people, being recycled for disadvantaged communities to eat. The documentary really stayed with me. I can’t imagine what it’s like not having access to proper food, and I hope that will change someday.
