What I miss about France, where I’m from:
My family and my friends. I also used to miss baguette and cheese, but not so much since I discovered bak kut teh

I’m a lawyer by training.
Before moving to Singapore, I was working as a contract manager for energy projects such as construction of solar power plants and wind farms. Presently, I write short stories related to Singapore and create cartoons to go with them for the French Association’s magazine. I also regularly join a group of local artists to paint famous places of Singapore, outdoors, and an exhibition of our work is planned for December in Dhoby Ghaut, at the Visual Arts Centre.

My style…
Has to fit into most life situations. Anytime, anywhere, I want to be able to run away and sit on the ground to rest, step back, listen, and look.

I am currently reading:
The Resident Tourist by Troy Chin. The Stranger by Albert Camus is one of my favourite books, but I also like Roald Dahl’s oversized imagination and the excellent suspense of Douglas Kennedy’s novels.

When I feel overwhelmed, I…
Spend alone time, share my feelings on paper with no limit, and write or draw according to my mood of the moment.
