We’re meeting you again after two years—tell us what has changed within this period.
Actually, there’s been a significant change quite recently! We launched our new fitness studio this month, and it’s been a hectic ride to get it done, but I’m very proud of the work we’ve put in to reach here. I also got another dog! He’s only six months old, and he’s a massive terror. I love both my kids (I have two French bulldogs)—they’re so silly, and they never fail to make me laugh.
As someone who has successfully opened your own business, what’s one advice you’d give to other budding entrepreneurs?
Calm down, and don’t rush the process. If you try to get things done quickly, you won’t be able to get things the way you want it.

I came back recently from a trip to Sri Lanka, which is a truly beautiful place. My favourite experience though would be hiking 5,500 steps, all the way up to Sri Pada, which is where Buddha’s sacred footprint can be found. We started hiking at 1AM and by the time we reached the top, we were just in time for the sunrise, which was so breathtaking.
What’s one habit or hobby you’re hoping to cultivate this year?
I wouldn’t consider myself a religious or spiritual person but I’ve been trying to get in touch with my spiritual side more. I think we all should try our best to do this, but every time I sit down for a meditation session, my mind just wanders and I can’t reign it back, so I’m working on it.
You’re someone who travels frequently—what’s next on your list for this year?
I’ve got a lot of travelling planned for this year. My next trip is to Langkawi for a friend’s wedding, and a little later in the year, I’m planning to head to Morocco.
