Where are you from and what brings you to Singapore?
I’m from Jiangsu province in Nanjing, located in the east of China. I’m here in Singapore for the first time for work.

I actually went straight from the airport to visit a client, so I haven’t had the chance to look around yet. I’ll be here for four days, so I’m excited to explore the beaches and Little India!

What do you do for work?
I’m a Sales Manager for a perfume brand. I quite like what I do, but after five years, my enthusiasm is starting to decline. I hope to try something new in the future, although I have no idea what I want to do yet (laughs).

Do you travel often?
Yes, mainly domestically. My favourite place to visit in China is Shaanxi province where there are tons of Asian architecture from the Song Dynasty—I once spent three months there just exploring them.

Do you typically dress in black from head to toe?
Not always. What I have on now is more of my typical businesswear since I’m working. If I wasn’t working, I think I’d wear a fully white outfit because it’s way too hot here in Singapore!

Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
I used to study French in school, just out of pure interest. That said, it’s been a long time since I’ve spoken the language.
