It’s apparent by now that earphones and headphones are part of the modern condition. Wherever you go, you’re bound to see people plugged in, listening to music, podcasts, or just to have a way to shut out the world until they’ve had their morning coffee (we’ve all been there). In recent years, we’ve seen style become just as much a factor as performance in headphone design, with bold colours, sleek silhouettes and even ‘designer’ headphones that double up as an accessory and play an important part in an outfit. As with other accessories, either don a brightly coloured pair that contrasts and adds a pop of colour to your outfit, or take the subtle route and slip on a pair in a complementary or neutral tone.
