How I came to be doing what I’m doing now:
It took me a little while to figure out what I wanted to go to University/college for, and I even took a gap year after high school. It wasn’t until my Dad encouraged me to perform for a small Christmas production that I decided that I never wanted to stop performing! I spent the next 4 years in college pursuing a degree in Theatre Arts, and I can honestly say that haven’t stopped falling more and more in love with the performing arts.

Some of my favourite movies:
I have a soft spot for You’ve Got Mail—it has me laughing the whole time, no matter how many times I’ve watched it. Chariots of Fire will always be an inspirational movie to me. And more recently, August: Osage County—with its play-like qualities, acting and direction, it almost transports you into a theatre experience without ever having to leave your couch.

Best advice you’ve ever received:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all of your soul, all of your strength, and all of your mind; and love your neighbour as yourself.”

Role models in life?
I have a few!
My husband—he has the biggest heart: he serves selflessly, he loves courageously, and lives humbly.
My older sister. She’s one of those people who surprises you with how much she serves the people around her. I am constantly challenged and touched by her love and acts of service.
My father. He has and continues to lovingly and tirelessly model what it means to be the best father to us kids and loving husband to my amazing mother. (Not to mention the amazing man he is outside of the home!)
