“I’m a typical Singaporean,” Lizzy says. "I believe that where there is good food, there is always a queue.”

Christine is always dreaming of travelling. "Iceland, Finland, Peru, New Zealand and South Africa are on my list!”

"It’s not what you wear, but how you wear it," Phillip says.

“I'm a huge fan of sneakers," Hannah says. "So I always match my outfits to the colours of my shoes.”

Mitzi counts herself as lucky to work in advertising — “Where our outfits can be as creative as our minds,” she says — and likes to rock any genre of fashion.

"I think looking and feeling comfortable helps to put people at ease as well," Hui Li says.

Drapes instantly draw the gaze to whichever part of the outfit it features on.

"I do believe that ignorance is bliss," Loic says, "and that is not a motto, just a lie.”

We were wrapping up our Shentonista shoot at the end of the day when we bumped into Farah again — impeccably dressed and looking as fresh as she would in the morning.
