A Good Story

What’s one thing you think you should be doing more of, or that you wish you had more time to be doing?
I love embroidery a lot. It’s a skill that I wish I had discovered earlier but it’s never too late to start. I’ve been practising after taking some embroidery classes. 

Something I would tell my younger self:
Delay no more. Procrastination is a b***h, so whatever you want to do, find the right people, the right tools and execute it. Even if you fail, it’s alright because bad decisions make good stories. 

Role model in life:
My maternal grandmother. She’s a strong-willed woman, an entrepreneur and a survivor. Back in the 1990s, she flew to America alone, knowing zero English and without any directions, to attend my uncle’s graduation ceremony. Till now, her ability to befriend strangers and strike up conversations still amazes me. She fell countless times, broke a few bones, and got robbed but that did not stop her from picking herself up and recovering from the physical and mental pain. I really admire the fiery spirit in her. 

Favourite TV show growing up:
Friends. It was so inspirational to me and my friends that we decided that when we get older, we’d all stay in the same flat. Of course, that didn’t happen but it still brings a smile to my face whenever I think about it.

Can I get Trump to step down?
