Tell us where you’re from. What brings you to Singapore?
I’m from London. I took some time off work to travel, with my last stop being Bali, so I thought it was a good opportunity to stop by Singapore on the way home to visit an old friend and to explore this cool city for a couple of days.

What do you do for work?
I work in a car rental office where I deal with customers and handle admin work. Summer is always the busiest period for us, so I’ve been working non-stop. This trip has been a nice break for me.

What has been your biggest takeaway from your travels so far?
Since I was working so much back home, I lived weekend-to-weekend and time passed by way too fast. This holiday has made me realise that I should live in the moment more, slow down a little instead of rushing through my 20s. You can say that I’ve definitely caught the Bali vibes! (laughs)

Are you an adventurous eater when you travel?
Yes! I love all Asian cuisines—Indian, Japanese, Malaysian, you name it.

What’s the first thing you’ll do when you return home?
Have a Sunday roast, it’s my ultimate comfort food. I’ve had a lot of amazing food in my travels, but nothing compares to my mum’s roast dinner.

When you get some free time back home, what do you enjoy doing?
Catching up with friends, going out to explore different spots, and just being as adventurous as I can in my home country.
