From The Ground Up

Best decision ever:
Studying architecture. I’ve been studying it for the past seven years to get a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, and I’m doing my PhD degree now.

What do you do in your free time?
My hobbies are painting and sculpting, but if I had more time, I’d like to read a book on the theories of architecture, and work out more.

Describe your style.
When I was a teenager, my style was influenced by hip hop, and when I studied in university, it evolved to  a fusion of a cowboy style with rock & roll influences. Now I try to dress minimally.

Why did you start your brand, @never_cage?
Since I’m not officially working yet, this is a side project that I decided to work on with my friend. We started out selling shorts for cyclists, but had to expand our product range over time to stay competitive. My friend suggested that we sell bags made out of denim. Our bags are not mass-produced, and there’s a story behind every product.

Which 3 famous people, living or dead, would you want at your fantasy dinner party?
King Rama of Thailand, Le Corbusier and Plato.

Favourite comfort food:
It has to be my mum’s cooking, especially a Thai vegetable dish eaten with Nam-Prik, a type of chilli paste.
