Too many things! (laughs)
What’s something you just read that you’d recommend to others?
It’s a book called Goodbye, Things by Fumio Sasaki. I think it’s helpful for people who are sick and tired of having too many things, and it made me realise that the things we collect may not necessarily define our identity.
How has it inspired you?
Since I read it, I’ve been actively trying to declutter, even if some of the items I’m getting rid of have sentimental value.
Tell us something people don’t really know about you:
I think that I have more than 100 plants at home!
Of the plants that you have, if there was one that best describes you, which would it be and why?
Euphorbia francoisii. The leaves are charcoal-black, but they have tiny pink flowers which are quirky, because within each flower, you can sometimes find two smaller ones blooming from it. I have a dark side, but I can also be cheerful and bright, and the dark leaves and the flowers represent that contrast very well.
