What are some lessons you’ve learnt from your years of work?
Although my work is relatively predictable, it’s still important to expect the unexpected and to have an open mind. That said, the bonds that I’ve forged with with my colleagues were quite unexpected, and these friendships are really fulfilling.
When I’m feeling overwhelmed…
I wish I can say that I go for long distance runs to clear my mind, but no, I actually stuff my face with food, after which I curse and swear loudly!
Scariest thing I’ve ever done:
I had sashimi once. Never again.
Favourite comfort food:
Fried fish soup with milk and thick bee hoon. I could eat this every day for the rest of my life.
Philosophy that I’m living by right now:
My dad, by example, taught me to not fear anything or anyone. This is vastly different from being a rebel and instead allows you to be your best you without fearing what others may think.
