Can you tell us a bit more about what you do for work?
I work in recruitment, and I absolutely love what I do. I think in Singapore, the market is always very fast-paced, both before and since the pandemic, but that’s what makes it great!

What’s something exciting that’s happened to you recently?
I recently got a puppy! He’s a corgi named Peanut, and he’s 11 months old now. It’s my first time being a dog mum, so it’s very new and exciting.

What are some things you’ve learnt since getting Peanut?
Oh my gosh, I’ve learnt so many things. I think the biggest one is that dogs really pick up on the language of love, and it’s so important to teach them everything you need to through love and kindness. I’ve found that they respond best to that.

Outside of work and being a dog mum, what are some of your hobbies or favourite ways to spend your free time?
I love to go on long walks, and I love to read. One of my all-time favourite books is Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike by Phil Knight. It’s like his life story, and he basically talks about how if you’re going to start something, don’t start with fear, and just go all-in to achieve your dreams. I love reading autobiographical books like these and learning from the authors’ life experiences.

You mentioned you love taking long walks as well. What are some of your favourite spots to visit for a stroll?
I love Gardens by the Bay—it’s really amazing there. And I know you asked about my hobbies outside of being a dog mum, but I bring Peanut along for my walks as well (laughs).
