“I used to wear clothes that were more colourful when I was younger. But now that age has caught up,” Daphne laughs, “not so much, anymore.” These days, she tends to stick to a neutral colour palette, of mostly beige, blue, white, black and grey, but still pays attention to the fit of her clothes and keeps an eye out for interesting details. We see that in her dress today — a strappy maxi that looks simple in the front, but with a bare back that shows off her tattoo to full effect. But while Daphne’s penchant for clothing veers to the monochrome, her zest for life is anything but muted. “If I could do anything I wanted, it would be to take pictures of sunrises all over the world.” She loves being under the sun as well, going for walks as a form of relaxation, and her truly sunny disposition leads her to believe that things will always turn out okay in the end. “My personal motto would be: don’t sweat the small stuff, and don’t let people get to me and affect my zen,” she says. “It’s one thing to say it, though; doing it is another!”
