You used to work in finance. What did you enjoy about the industry?
I think the pay is quite good as compared to other industries (laughs). I guess I was comfortable in the field as it was what I’ve been doing since I got my Masters in Business Administration.

Why did you leave your job?
I quit my job to focus on caring for my two children. While I love being a stay-at-home mum, I’m considering returning to the workforce this year. I recently took a course in image consulting and really enjoyed it, so it’ll be nice to give that a try.

How would you describe your role as a mother?
It’s a bit of a give and take. I’m raising my kids to become good people who’re beneficial to society and I, in turn, am also learning a lot from them.

Share with us some of your hobbies and interests.
I like to read and make hand-crafted jewellery.

What are you currently reading?
Hidden Potential: The Science of Achieving Greater Things by Adam Grant. It’s a book about ways to bring our your potential by applying different skills apart from one’s strengths.

What is your favourite colour combination to dress in?
Black, white, and red! I think it’s a great combination that helps me stand out with a pop of colour.
