What made you decide to enter your current field of work?
I studied interior design in university, but I’ve never been an academically-inclined person. It was only after I took on an internship and enjoyed my work then that I decided that this was a good path for me to continue on, because it gives me a way to challenge myself.
If you could invent any flavour of ice cream, what would it be?
Maybe one that’s gummy bear-flavoured. I tried freezing gummy bears once and I liked the taste, so I think I’d enjoy a gummy bear ice cream.
What’s a skill you’d like to have?
I’ve been trying to learn sign language. Not many people know it, but I feel that it’s important to have the ability to bridge the communication gap between people with needs and the rest of us. It’d come in handy in emergencies, and also if I met someone else who knew it we could have a conversation between us without anyone eavesdropping. (laughs)
If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
I’d want to be an elephant in the wild! (laughs)
What’s something you’d like more people to know or care about?
I’d like people to be more considerate, and to be more critical of ourselves before we judge others.
