It’s true—art can seem intimidating.

Whether a blank canvas or storied masterpiece, art is open to a myriad of interpretations and expressions with no “right” answer—in a way, it’s very much like fashion. Whether you admire the skills that go into its crafting, the composition and use of colours, or how it simply makes you feel, art and fashion speak to each of us quite differently.

For the next three weeks, we’re partnering with the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) to bring you a fashionable reinterpretation of works of art from SAM’s Learning Gallery. Through carefully-curated outfits inspired by their artworks of choice, six staff members from SAM will share their perspectives, and how their work at SAM have brought them deeper into the world of art.
