Can you tell us about your WNAH grooming experience?
I don’t go to barbers these days since I don’t have hair to groom but it was nice and relaxing.
What did you like about it?
Luke was cool friendly guy. Had a good chat with him about the proliferation of men’s grooming salons these days.
Is this your first time to a professional grooming salon?
What do feel is different about WNAH as opposed to other barbers/ your usual barber?
Certainly different from say Indian barbers. Both are nice in their own ways.
Will you return to WNAH?
Definitely. It’s kind of like a men’s salon to get away from everything and relax.
How was the personal styling and shoot experience with Shentonista?
Is this your first experience at the Club Monaco store? What’s your impression of the brand?
The store was great, very cosy.
What’s your favourite thing about your outfit from Club Monaco?
The clothes are simple and the sizes fit right.
What you are currently listening to/inspired by?
Old 70s and 80s progressive rock, folky stuff and jazz.
Who are some of your current favourite homegrown musicians?
Affendi Sahid is a great vocalist. Xhin is a great electronic musician with a few releases under his belt. There are also some great DJs who can beat many international acts, namely Brendon P, Ulysses James, Dean Chew.
If you can collaborate with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would love to build a sound system with DJ Harvey
If you can liken your music to a dish/food, what would it be and why?
Sushi – simply because of the belief that selection always trumps mixing. Good tracks are the equivalent to fresh good quality ingredients – its tasty even when served raw.
If you can have a meal with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
He would have to be the Dalai Lama XIV as I think it would be relaxing and provoking at the same time.
