Green brings to mind the newness of spring, as nature awakes after winter has passed. We like these new hues we’ve been seeing: a vibrant spring green, military-inspired khaki, and luxuriously rich emerald. Here are a few tips to wear this shade with style: treat it as a new neutral, and dress yourself in it in replacement of the basics of black, white, navy or grey. Also, look to the colour wheel for inspiration on colours to pair green with — a complementary colour like red goes well with green, but choose more muted hues of each colour to avoid looking like you’re dressed for Christmas. Green is analogous with the colour blue, so pair this spring shade with denim for a perfect sartorial match. There’s also something refreshing and simple about a rugged military jacket thrown over a crisp white shirt; an easy alternative to a blazer or cardigan.
