Spectacles come in many shapes and sizes, but these days, we’ve been noticing a look that’s becoming more commonplace. Fashion is cyclical, as they say, and it seems that looking intentionally studious with the aid of round frames is back in vogue again. While it’s true that round glasses suit a more angular face shape, the choice of material makes a big difference. Thin metal makes for barely-there frames that don’t really cry for sharp cheekbones, while tortoiseshell or thicker black plastic are other variations that are as much fashion accessories as they are necessities.
