We first spotted Clarisse, a freelance illustrator from Indonesia, across the street, glowing in her vibrant pink outfit in the light of day, sipping on her iced coffee with her dad by her side as they strolled around, seemingly unbothered by the midday heat, in search of a good spot for lunch.

“I’ve lived in many places around the world, but my favourite has to be New York, because that was the first place where I learned to live on my own.”

Everest started the year on a high note, but is already looking for her next adventure.

The last time we saw Michelle, she was decked in a striking floral jacket, all ready to herald in the start of a new year. Her style of late has been a bit less feminine, though.

“I have quite an obsessive personality, so when I like something, I tend to go overboard,” Charissa says.

“I’m generally a huge fan of people dressing up for work, and my only pet peeve would be when people don’t bother,” Nellie says.

If she could wear a uniform of sorts to work every day, for the rest of her life, Lesley would choose to wear a t-shirt dress and sneakers.

Min-Li loves a good jacket; that, plus a “perfect button down shirt” and a “wonderful pencil skirt”, and she’s set for work.
