We caught Claudia on one of her off days, so she was clearly revelling in her freedom to dress in her favourite basics. “I just started work at a bank, so comfy slacks, tees, and sneakers are sadly a no-no,” she says.

Samantha is quite the traveller and collector, both of items and of memories. She got her cuff from Australia, bracelets from Langkawi, will be visiting Shanghai in October, and when she turns 30 next year, she has plans to go to Vietnam.

True to what she’s wearing today, T.Y. describes her usual style as casual, comfortable, and classic with an interesting touch. “I usually go for clean lines, with quirky/structural designs,” she says.

Hazwan's personal style can be described as clean, with a touch of creativity, and his creative personality shines through not only through his love for the theatre and his passionate side job as a playwright and performer, but also through the way he dresses.

We met Jenny while she was back in town for her summer break. The Indonesian studied fashion in Singapore before going on to school in London, and says she counts the British city as her favourite place.

As she works from home, Dominique finds no problem with the dress code at work, but feels that when the time comes she would rather dress for comfort.

Nikki dresses depending on the occasion. She usually keeps it simple but with a pop of colour, such as a black dress with a red bag or a grey pencil skirt with a neon pink top, but during her down time she leans more towards bohemian and summer wear.

The last time we saw Michelle, she was decked in a striking floral jacket, all ready to herald in the start of a new year. Her style of late has been a bit less feminine, though.

When she’s not cooking up at storm in the kitchen of Luxe Singapore, Chui’s off-work attire is much more relaxed and a tad more refined. “I love fine gauge sweaters made from wool, cashmere or silk blends as I can wear them for many occasions, from the air-conditioned conditions of Singapore, to the hot/cold conditions of Sydney at the moment.”

Angie is one who knows what works for her. Instead of a frequent go-to style, she matches what she wears with her skin colour, gravitating towards gold hues, blue, green, red, yellow, and purple, or all of the above.

Marco readily admits that he is “a vain person”, and enjoys dressing up in different looks. If he had to pick a uniform of sorts to wear, however, he would keep it classic and versatile.
