Erin has a clear vision of what her style is. “I usually stick to black and white, mostly pencil skirts and palazzo pants,” she says.

Gracia can’t find the exact words to describe her personal style, but says that she’d choose pants or jeans over skirts or dresses any day.

In life, Charice says she tries to live by this motto: “Always challenge yourself to do what scares you.”

Soma says she doesn’t have a fixed style and tends to be more adventurous, trying new things every time, but her staples include basic white linen tees, crew neck black tees, and statement skirts.

“I think appearance can reflect our personalities, so being well-presented is important if you want others to take you seriously.”

Her personal philosophy in life: "Never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never cease to be polite and never outstay your welcome."

One thing that Sharon has learnt at work is to pluck up the courage and not be afraid to ask. "Ask and you will receive."

“Manage your bosses for a happier work life,” Yanni advises. “Also, leave your problems in the office.”

“We might just be a tiny bookstore on a tiny island,” Qing Yi says of her workplace, “but I'd like to think that in some subtle way, that we're contributing.”
