Time and experience have made Dahlia realise that her job doesn’t necessarily have to be her passion.

It isn’t easy to find a work-life balance working in the creative industry, so Avril copes by making sure that she has some “me-time” to reboot.

Mitzi counts herself as lucky to work in advertising — “Where our outfits can be as creative as our minds,” she says — and likes to rock any genre of fashion.

Sweatpants to work? No sweat for Janice, who gets free rein to wear whatever she wants.

“I like classic pieces that are fun and not too serious," Evelina says, "because I don't take myself too seriously either!”

"I strive not to be defined by the things that I own," Rachel says.

“Work only gets tougher — there will never be an easy day, so this is why passion is so important," Daphne says.

The hardest thing Nicole is trying to do is to not sweat the small stuff. “It sounds cliché, but it's goddamn difficult.”

“I'm working on being a better version of myself in everything that I do,” Trisha says.

One thing that Liya advises everyone to do, both at work and in life, would be to dare to be more and to buy into experience.

Dahlia works in advertising, and this allows her to dress pretty casually for work unless she has client meetings to attend.

Janice says she’s always liked writing, and one of the tattoos she has reflects this passion. There’s a little twist to this, however.
